Hundreds of delegates from across the world today attended Hizb ut-Tahrir’s global conference in Beirut, for the restoration of the Islamic Khilafah (caliphate) as the solution to address the many problems affecting the Muslim world.

The conference brought together delegates from Iraq, Palestine, Japan, Sudan, Jordan, Dagestan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, Turkey and all four corners of the world.

Speakers addressed the issue of the occupied Muslim lands; Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir and how to liberate them. They also addressed the attempts to divide Sudan, the Islamic solution to the global economic crisis, the situation of Muslims in the West, separatism in Indonesia, and the international nuclear crisis including the issue of Iran.

The conference outlined Hizb ut-Tahrir’s detailed views on these issues and how the Islamic Khilafah state would solve them.

Delegates pledged to support Hizb ut-Tahrir’s work for the re-establishment of the Islamic Khilafah as the means to liberate the Muslim world from the physical, economic and political domination by the west and the means to usher in a new era of the great Islamic civilisation to once again serve as a beacon of justice and stability in the world.
