Thousands gathered at the occupied Masjid al-Aqsa on the 3rd March 2006 to mark and remember another year in the absence of the Khilafah (caliphate). Banners read ‘Khilafah the crown of the obligations’ and a call for the Muslims across the world to re establish the Khilafah state to liberate al-Quds and once again bring unity to the Islamic lands.
